Bridal Day Beauty CountDown!

I have already shared a similar post to this but more focused on skincare in the past constructed solely by myself, but this arrived into my mail box this morning and thought it would be very useful for all you Brides-to-be out there!!!
The only thing I'd slightly disagree with is
booking hair & makeup only 3 months in advance of the wedding. I'd actually suggest trialling out Makeup & Hair Artists AS SOON AS YOU START planning the wedding, we tend to book out over a year in advance for the more popular dates!

This post is is an advertisement for Vivascal (hair Growth Programme) which is something I personally have no experience with or an opinion on!

START...

Every bride wants to be radiant on her wedding day.   After all, the trip down the aisle is your own personal catwalk, the one time in your life when you can guarantee every eye will be upon you – who wouldn’t want to look their best?  And that’s before you bring hubby-to-be into the equation.  But remember, bridal beauty is a marathon, not a sprint.  Instead of last minute quick fixes, start laying the foundations for big day beauty six months in advance.  Here’s our timetable to perfect bridal bliss.

Six Months Before Your Wedding Day
  • Get serious about skin care: start a good cleansing and moisturising program.  If you suffer from problem skin visit a dermatologist or make appointments for monthly facials.
  • If you'd like to lose weight before your wedding, see your doctor to set up a proper nutrition and fitness plan. Set a weight-loss goal and meet it before your dress fittings begin – remember, once fittings are underway you'll need to maintain your weight.  Or why not reconsider losing weight altogether - obviously your hubby-to-be thinks you look great just the way you are.
·          If you want long, romantic tresses on your wedding day then now’s the time to start nourishing your hair from within.  Hair growth begins beneath the scalp, where the hair follicle is formed, and in this stage of growth, also known as the Anagen phase, the nutrients received to the hair follicle play a vital role in its health and appearance. Supported by nine clinical studies, Viviscal Maximum Strength Supplements are scientifically formulated for women to promote healthy hair growth from within and give your hair the boost it needs to look its very best on your big day.
·
Three Months Before Your Wedding Day
  • Set up consultations with potential hairdressers. Bring along pictures of hairstyles you like, and don’t forget your veil and headpiece.
  • See potential makeup artists for trial big day looks. Be sure to take snap a few shots of the trial to look over when you get home.  Remember, you should look like you, only better.
  • Check out the self-tan market and experiment to find your perfect glow. Consider the neckline of your gown, and whether you’ll have existing tan lines you'll need to cover.
One Month Before Your Wedding Day
·         Get your eyebrows professionally shaped.
·         Last chance for a salon facial - don't risk an allergic reaction closer to your wedding day.
·         Cut down on tea and coffee and try whitening toothpaste for a sparkling big day smile.

Two Weeks Before Your Wedding Day
·         Get your final haircut – nothing new or edgy – and touch up your colour.
·         Drink water like it’s going out of fashion
·         Exfoliate and moisturise as if your life depends on it

One Week Before Your Wedding Day
·         Get a bikini wax and a final eyebrow shaping
·         Steer clear of salty snacks and alcohol which can cause last minute bloating – after all you’ll soon be sipping champers
·         Book a professional pedicure and manicure for the day before your wedding

Priced at €49.95 for one month’s supply, Viviscal Maximum Strength Supplements are available from Boots, leading pharmacies nationwide, health stores, online at www.viviscal.ie or phone 1890 60 18 01.
